About

Hello, I'm Kate.

Veterinary physiotherapist, NAVP registered, and happiest in a stable yard or on the clinic mat. Keeping animals comfortable is the absolute best job in the world.

How it started

It started with a paralysed dachshund.

My first spark of interest in veterinary physiotherapy came from visiting my auntie, an animal physio, while she was rehabbing a little dachshund paralysed by a spinal disc problem (IVDD). Seeing what physio could do for him stuck with me.

While I was at college and university I worked at an equine swimming centre, helping horses through rehabilitation and conditioning programmes, and my interest in equine athletes grew from there. I qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy and set up KD Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2023.
